His choice of treatment was ADT (Androgen Deprivation Therapy) - Hormone, Lupron / Flutamide. Here is his [very brief] story.

I was diagnosed in March 2009 at age 50. My PSA was 179.0 ng/ml, the cancer spread to my lymph nodes and bones: - shoulders, ribs, spine, femurs.

I currently have a tumor on a vertebra in my lumbar area. The doctors started me on hormone treatment with Lupron shots every four months and Flutamide taken daily.

I currently have not had chemotherapy or radiation. My last PSA was 0.05 in October 2009.
