UPDATED

July 2008

I had the DaVinci Radical Prostatectomy at the City of Hope-(LA,CA) on June 17.

Two days in the hospital, due to increased blood loss.

Catheter removed after 7 days.

Did not need any pain meds at home.

No incontinence.

Doctor began Cialis 10 mg 3x week immediately.

Cancer was in 4% of Prostate.

Cancer was 100% removed.

Post-op PSA at 4 weeks is 0.06

Feeling great.

Thanks!

UPDATED

August 2008

At 6 weeks, now feeling great, walking 2 miles per day.

All functions are normal, except for occasional urinary drips. Immediately started Cialis, 10 mg 3 times per week. Sexual function is back to pre-operative levels. Naturally, the greatest stress was the unknown about the surgery and confirmation that all the cancer was removed.

Anyone is welcome to contact me with questions.

What a ride !!! :) !
