BRONZE
George Katz and Joanne live in New Hampshire, USA. He was 55 when he was diagnosed on August 23, 2007. His initial PSA was 4.0 ng/ml, his Gleason Score was 7 and he was staged T1c He is undecided as to his choice of treatment. Here is his story:

A strange thing this prostate cancer I didn't expect that my problem would turn out to be cancer but only BPH (Benign Prostate Hyperplasia)

I am a 9 year survivor of colon cancer. I survived major surgery when I was still in my 40's so this new thing seems like it will be minor by comparison. I am still debating if I will have surgery however as one doctor has suggested and only have the radiation seeds and see if that doesn't work.

If any of you out there have any experiences or knowledge of this surgery and would like to share it, I would like to hear from you.

George's e-mail address is: thevineyard311@msn.com
