BRONZE

John Calouro and live in Georgia, United States . He was 58 when he was diagnosed on December 29, 2008. His initial PSA was 4.7 ng/ml, his Gleason Score was 6 and he was staged T1c. He is undecided as to his choice of treatment. Here is his story.

My cancer was identified because of an increase in my PSA level based on a series of blood test [July, 2007 PSA 2.8 / October, 2008 PSA 3.9 / November, 2008 PSA 4.6]

Based on the increase in PSA the doctor recommended that I have a Prostate biopsy. On December 18, 2008 a Prostate biopsy was done, and on December 29, 2008, I received a call from the doctor with the results of the biopsy. He told me that one of the samples from the biopsy had cancer cells.

I have had two doctors consultations and I am in the process of reviewing my options.
