2008. His initial PSA was 11.8 ng/ml, his Gleason Score was 8 and he was staged
T1c. His choice of treatment was Radical prostatectomy. Here is his story.

SO THERE IS NO UPDATE.
In
February 2007 I went to see my doctor due to frequent night time trips to the
washroom, he did a PSA test (3.0) and prescribed Flomax.
After a trip
to Europe I went back to a refill on the meds and told him they were not doing
any good. He sent me for another PSA test, said I was fine and told me the medication
was the best available, i.e. there is nothing better.
In January 2008
after moving and visiting a second doctor, I had another PSA test which was 11.8
(up from 3.1 six months earlier). After some deliberating and advice I had a radical
prostatectomy in July. Nine weeks later my PSA was 0.02
