Ron M and Jean live in Canada. He was 58 when he was diagnosed on March 6, 2009.
His initial PSA was 5.0 ng/ml, his Gleason Score was 6 and although he does not
state his staging it seems he was staged T1c. His choice of treatment was radical
prostatectomy. Here is his story.
I had been diagnosed with Melanoma,
two years ago. Then found I was dealing with some blood issues and was placed
on one of the "chemo" drugs.
I was continuing to lose weight and had loss
of appetite. Lots of tests done till finally it was found that my PSA was rising
in number every test.
So, a biopsy was ordered and 12 samples taken. Got
the results on March 6th.
Dealing with a really nice surgeon in London,
Ontario -Dr J. Izawa. Just waiting for a surgery date now. Probably going under
the knife in mid June.
That is it for now.
