BRONZE

Stan Sheppard and May live in British Columbia, Canada. He was 61 when he was diagnosed in October 2004. His initial PSA was 6.6 ng/ml, his Gleason Score was 7 and although he cannot remember what he was staged, it seems likely that it would have been T1c . His choice of treatment was Surgery. Here is his story.

THERE WAS NO RESPONSE TO AN UPDATE REMINDER IN NOVEMBER 2009 SO THERE IS NO UPDATE.

I had a radical in January 2005........operation was a success but I had a positive margin. First PSA was 0.008.......three months later it was 0.05.......and finally Feb. this year it was 0.05. I have been on hormones since Feb........current PSA is <0.01.......tentatively scheduled for EBRT (External Beam Radiation Treatment) in August. Slightly incontinent, and not much in the way of erections.
