Steve
K and Cindie live in Maryland, USA. He was 50 when he was diagnosed in June, 2007.
His initial PSA was 3.9 ng/ml, his Gleason Score was 4+3=7 and although he does
not know his staging, it seems likely that he was staged T1c. His choice of treatment
was actively fighting [Active Surveillance]. Here is his story.
My Urologist
wanted to operate (open)immediately, which I wanted no part of. I had just met
a wonderful lady and did not want the issues of incontinence or ED, I knew there
had to be a better way.
I began intensive research and read almost all
the stories on this site (see Ron
Hard).
I came across a prostate protocol which I started on July 12,
2007, along with diet changes, exercise program, alkalive Ph booster and detox
program, my goal was to get my immune system strong as possible.
After
40 some days on the prostate protocol, my PSA came back at 0.9
My typical
diet consists of oatmeal/shredded wheat (with soy milk,& berries, no dairy) in
the morning, glass of tomato juice. Tuna/chicken salad with lots of greens. Dinners
are chicken, fish, lots of broccoli, salad (no dressing). No desserts, no sugars!
I
drink about 2 gallons a week of high Ph water, I wanted to get my body Ph up to
the 7.6 - 7.8 (see Otto Warburg, Nobel prize awarded for work with cancer and
oxygen).
I detox by taking a good steam 3-4 times a week, 115 degrees for
minimum 15 minutes and a hot bath consisting of 32oz hydrogen peroxide, baking
soda and Epson salts, 3x times a week.
I take the following daily supplements:
15mg
lycopene, 100mg DHEA, 50mg CoQ10, 300mg Super R-lipoic acid, 400mg super bio-curcumin,
1000mg Vit C, 500mg magnesium, 200 mcg selenium , 400 iu Vit E, 1000iu D3
Exercise
consist of 30 mins of Stairmaster, 20 min of lifting, then steam, 3-4 times a
week.
