Can someone please advise me.

Hi, I am 52 fit and have no symptoms of prostate problems. On May 28, 2007 I had a routine health check and had a PSA of 12.2 so had a biopsy in Thailand and they found adenocarcinoma but due to incompetent private surgeon in Thailand it was inconclusive. so I went back to UK where after another biopsy they found no significant pathology in the right lobe but in the left... 5 cores 26mm, in 2 cores it showed an infiltrating adenocarcinoma, Gleason Score 6 (3+3) occupying 5% or total core volume. no vascular or perineural invasion.

I had to return to Thailand after biopsy where I had an MRI and bone scan which were normal. My PSA reading is now 13 and according to the doc who recently gave me a digital exam the prostate was small, so the doc recommended a six month course of hormone then brachytherapy. I don't know if this is good advise so will be looking for a second opinion. Can anyone please advise. Many Thanks for you time.

Been around PSA 13.0 for a year then today my result was 50.0 so I need to treat. Thing is I feel great and have an active sex life.

What's the best treatment, so many different stories and remedies, I'm confused.

Can you advise please?

Had a shock last month as my PSA shot up to 50.0 from a stable 12 months at 13ish. I am sure it's a STD (sexually Transmitted Disease) that has elevated my score as I had symptoms down below and had unprotected sex with a one night stand (yes I know stupid).

I don't want to jump into action until I am sure I need to. Just had a PSA test result today 3 weeks after the 50.0 reading and gone down to 37.0, the doc has put me on tabs and after the course I will have a further PSA test.

I am feeling healthy, no problems, my PSA is still 13.0 and so very happy I did not jump in and have treatment.

In the last year my uncle and my brother-in-law have died. Both endured treatment for PCa and suffered the crap that goes with it, but my uncle was killed in a car crash and my brother-in-law had a heart attack. All cases are different I know but my advice is don't be rushed into treatment. [The Elephant In The Room deals with this issue.]

SO after the UK health system told me its "Aggressive prostate cancer" PSA reading 26.5 and needs immediate hormone tabs and injections, causing many side effects. Then radiation beamed into my body every day for 7 weeks to "PREVENT SPREAD" not cure !! Then I was informed when it returns, which is highly possible, chemotherapy will be my last chance.

Well still here lol. Two years now since I refused Radiation treatment and I'm feeling great and enjoying my life. I use natural foods to combat cancer. As I've stated before, I do not trust "Big Pharma" and their poisonous potions. Many people are skeptical about this but they need to research. Cancer is an epidemic and the drugs just kill you off slowly and painfully (in my opinion). I am a big advocate of Rick Simson oil, baking soda, apricot kernals, turmaric, ginger, soursop, bitter mellon plus plus. Read up on it before you go ahead with the big pharma treatments. Stay away from sugars, processed stuff that looks like food, red meat, dairy produce. Keep and eye on your PH reading. Stay positive also. You can beat this without THEIR poisons. Good Luck you all.

Feeling great, no problems at all. Taking just a maintenance dose of Cannabis Oil and sticking to my diet, including Apricot Kernels. So glad, I did not go the conventional route THEY wanted me to "undertake" excuse the pun, Research my friends, Radiation and chemo are not the only methods. Still here after many years. So happy I did not go for THEIR radiation and chemo. Do not fear, there are alternatives to the aggressive "health" treatments route. PSA is only a number, don't be alarmed by it. Research as I did and you will find the NATURAL cures, such as CBD +++++ Live a healthy lifestyle, don't be bullied into big pharma "Treatment"

Refused radiation + treatment years ago. Went the natural route, diet, apricot kernels, cbd oil. +++ I do not trust big pharma. Your ill health is their wealth. Research the natural cures. Good luck !!

Still alive lol. 10 years now. Refused radiation & chemo from day one. Have not taken any big pharma meds since. DONT DESPARE. There are alternatives to big pharma treatments.
