Bill Hasseberg lives in Florida, USA. He was 66 when he was diagnosed in August, 2008. His initial PSA was 20.20 ng/ml, his Gleason Score was Unknown, and he was staged Unknown. His initial treatment choice was Other (Specify:) and his current treatment choice is None. Here is his story.

Diagnosed with advanced aggressive strain of cancer. Tumor about the size of the prostate. I took an herbal cocktail for over 120 days that shrunk the tumor to virtually nothing and surgery was performed 8 months after original diagnosis. I regret that I did not have my doctor monitor my PSA after the tumor shrunk rather than going ahead with surgery. When I mention the herbal cocktail, that's the only thing I can contribute the shrinkage of the tumor to because I did not resort to radiation or chemo. I only know it was the rare aggressive strain because my doctors diagnosed it as such. 6 years and a few weeks now since surgery, almost 7 years since original diagnosis.

May 2016

Really nothing to add. Another year has passed and I've gotten a year older. It's been almost 8 years now since my original diagnosis.

UPDATED

June 2017

It's now June, 2017. I've had my challenges with hearing and currently have two cochlear implants to assist with that. My last visit with my doctor earlier this week shows all to be good. Every day is a bonus but I'm living a lot of them so far.

UPDATED

August 2018

Here it is August 2018 and I'm doing well. I'm 76 now and working full time outdoors most of the day. I consider myself fortunate.

UPDATED

April 2019

Ahh, Here it is the spring of 2019 and I'm still around and doing well. I noticed in my original story I did not say what herbal cocktail I used. It was N-Tense by Raintree Nutrition. I did a lot of research before I trusted my life to this product and fortunately it was the right decision. I still work full time and consider every day a bonus day in my life.

UPDATED

May 2020

It's 2020 and now come July will be 12 years since I was diagnosed with my cancer. I'm well and will soon turn 78 so it's been what most would call a successful journey. I stay active and continue to do strength training in order to stay strong and maintain good health. My best to all who read this.

UPDATED

February 2024

Well, a few more years have gone by and I'm still around to tell my story. Nothing different to tell at this point. In April it will be 15 years since my surgery. I have no idea if that's average or how you would rate it but I'm still around. I was 66 when I was diagnozed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer, I'm 81 now and fairly active. I just returned from an extensive workout at the local fitness center so I think I'm doing good. I'm always available to share my experience with any interested people. William (Bill) Hasseberg
