Age 69 years old... in March of 2023 after CAT, magnetic resonance,, biopsy PET etc. I was presented with a diagnosis of Grade 4 metastatic Prostate cancer. Metastasis to pelvic lymph nodes, semicircular canals , floor of urinary bladder and body of L1 lumbar vertebra.

I have started ADT with ELIGARD 22.5 mg injection every 3 months. I am taking part in a 48 month clinical trial where I will be starting treatments of Apalutamide (ERLEADA) on July 6th along with the ELIGARD.

I have a BMI of 28. TRIglycerides, HDL, LDL, Colesterol all normal. Vitamin D on the low end of normal. HbA1c normal. IGF 1 normal.

At the time of my diagnosis, my PSA was 195. About 10 days after starting ELIGARD it has fallen to 32.477.

When I asked my oncologist what I should eat or should not eat , he said" eat a mediterranean diet.
