Elbanna and Mayy live in Texas, USA. He was 75 when he was diagnosed on February
19, 2009. His initial PSA was 4.5 ng/ml, his Gleason Score was 4+4=8 and he was
staged T1c.. He is undecided as to his choice of treatment. Here is his story.
I
am a 75 years old with diabetes, and overweight. During my recent medical diagnostic
tests, late in December, 2008, I discovered that my PSA was up normal (4.5) .
Accordingly, I have been transferred to a urology doctor. A biopsy procedure
was done on January 4, 2009, and the sample tissues taken from my prostate was
examined. The results show that I have Prostate Cancer. Later, diagnostic tests
including CT-Scan, Bone- Scan and X-Rays shows that the cancer is restricted inside
the Prostate gland only.
At present I am studying the alternative treatments.
I hope that a suitable alternative would be selected; suitable to my age of 75
years old, my diabetic, my overweight of 120kg., and the side effects I should
be aware, and also a good experience specialist in my area ( Texas, Mesquite,
Dallas county).
