MINI POLL

WHAT IS IMPORTANT?

SHOULD SOME STORIES BE DELETED?

A Mini Poll was carried out during September 2009 focussing on the two issues set out above.

The first section of the Mini Poll asked:

"What is the most important aspect of the Experience stories on the site? "

The substantial majority of respondents (over half) said they were most interested in the long term effects of the chosen treatment.

The second largest group (almost one third) the way treatment choices were made and why.

Little more than 5% of the respondents said that they were interested in the way the chosen treatment was carried out or short term side effects of the chosen treatment and

only 2% were interested in the immediate effects of the chosen treatment

The second section of the Mini Poll asked a number of questions aimed at focussing on whether any stories should be deleted, even if they were not updated.

Almost half the respondents voted to keep only the stories that had useful information and almost two thirds of this group felt that it would be useful to keep the stories for only two years after the last update.

A further fifth of all respondents said that all stories should be kept for at least two years after the last update.

A quarter of all respondents said that no stories should be deleted.

Many thanks to all those who took the trouble to respond to the Mini Polls. It certanly helps to get this kind of feedback.
